Anxiety

At our practice, we take a holistic and individualized approach to treating anxiety. Using evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), we help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns while fostering greater emotional flexibility. We also incorporate grounding skills to help manage overwhelming moments and promote a sense of calm. By exploring and understanding vulnerability factors unique to each person, we create tailored strategies to reduce anxiety and empower clients to live with greater ease and confidence. Sometimes this means acknowledging when feelings of anxiety are inevitable in particular situations, and how acceptance of this inevitability may actually reduce the intensity of the anxiety.
